The X Factor judges may soon regret saying yes to Brodie Kelly...
He sailed through to boot camp after receiving four yesses at his first audition, but X Factor judges may soon regret putting through Brodie Kelly, 18.
Now has exclusively uncovered a series of now deleted shocking posts made by the potential pop star between 2011 and 2013 that slated the ‘shit’ show and attacked Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Simon Cowell.
Brodie first Tweeted: ‘I always question why I watch xfactor, it’s shit’ during series nine – the year his cousin Jaymi Hensley’s band Union J came fourth – before posting ‘cant wait for The Voice…finally something decent on TV’.
He also branded Cheryl ‘boring’ and said he’d rather ‘look at a poster of her’ than watch her on The Jonathan Ross Show in 2012. Around the same time he pondered: ‘[I] bet Simon Cowell get loads of p***y’.
Brodie also made a lewd sexual remark about Rita Ora.
Now ashamed and apologetic over the posts, which are sure to come as a shock to his thousands of young fans, a friend of his tells Now: ‘Brodie’s very embarrassed by these Tweets, which were posted three years ago when he was 15. These aren’t views he still holds and he’s hugely appreciativeof the opportunity that’s been given to him by The X Factor. He wants to apologise to anyone he’s offended with these comments.’
