After Scarlett Moffatt's career took off, Channel 4 don't want to lose any other stars

We love the Gogglebox families for so many reasons – but mostly because they’re just like us.

They like to sit around in their PJ’s, eating takeaways and catching up with the best telly programmes around.

But now it looks like the show could be facing drama after it was reported that the stars have been banned from attending celeb bashes and hanging out together outside the programme.

Sounds pretty harsh, right?

Well, following former coach potato Scarlett Moffatt‘s rise to fame since leaving the show, according to The Sun producers are so worried about other cast members following in her footsteps that they’re imposing tough, new rules.

The Daily Star have also reported that the cast – which includes the likes of Jenny and Lee and Giles and Mary – are even thought to be getting new contracts including a clause that stops them from taking on any other work in the public eye.

Geordie star, Scarlett left the popular Channel 4 show in 2016 to enter the I’m A Celebrity jungle and shot to fame when she went on to win the reality programme.

With a new book deal and a lead role on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway,
as well as a hosting gig on the remake of 90’s dating show, Streetmate (to name a few) there’s no stopping this talented lady.

And she’s not the only star to have had her name made on the show before moving on to different projects as George Gilbey was the first to take a reality TV show when he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2014.

Posh couple Steph and Dom Parker have also had their fair share of telly deals since Gogglebox and recently starred in BBC’s Let’s Sing And Dance For Comic Relief.

With all these popular stars leaving the show, The Sun claims that producers are worried they’ll soon lose much-loved duos Stephen and Christopher and Leon and June to other projects.
