Hip-hip hooray! The lovely Fearne Cotton turns 34 today! Here’s 8 reasons why we hope she has the best birthday ever...
1. Her fashion sense
Rarely a day goes by that we don’t see a photo of Fearne Cotton looking amazing. Even with her baby bump she makes us all envious of her wardrobe. She wows with every outfit she wears and when her fashion collection from Very arrived earlier this year we were all giddy as we were finally able to steal the Fearne style!
2. Her giving side
Over the years Fearne has been a front-woman in supporting charities like CoppaFeel!, Macmillan Cancer Support and Children in Need. In 2009 she climbed Africa’s biggest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, alongside celebs like Cheryl Cole, Alesha Dixon and fellow Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles in aid of Red Nose Day.
3. How Rock’n’Roll she is
Fearne Cotton will always be the coolest of all the Radio 1 DJ’s. Fact. When she left BBC Radio 1 in May she left a huge whole in our hearts. She’s also married to Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood’s son, Jesse, which is pretty rock’n’roll right?
4. Her friendship with Holly Willoughby
Holly and Fearne’s relationship gives us all major envy and is at the top of the list when it comes to friendship goals. They became friends at the age of 19 when they were both presenting children’s TV and 15 years later they present panel show Celebrity Juice together and are still pretty much inseparable!
5. Yummy Mummy
After giving birth to son Rex back in 2013, Fearne is pregnant with her second child with husband Jesse Wood. She announced her pregnancy at the same time she announced she would be leaving Radio 1 after 10 years – so we were still smiling after being TOTALLY gutted about her departure
6. She can do no wrong
From TV presenting, to having her own clothing line, to Radio 1 and now being a full-time family woman, Fearne is a bit like wonder-woman – she just never stops! She keeps going from strength to strength and unlike many other celebrities, she is super down to earth!
7. How hilarious she is
Since being a presenter on Celebrity Juice since 2008 Fearne has not only reminded us of how funny she is, but also how she can take all sorts of humour on the chin; and if we ever forget, Keith Lemon is there to remind us all of her flaring nostrils every week!
8. Her long-lasting career
We’ve basically grown up with Fearne Cotton and seen her blossom into the successful woman she is today. She’s been a strong role-model since her 20s and there is no doubt she will continue to make us smile with her cool attitude, flawless fashion sense and her friendly face on our TV screens.
