Harry's mum is on her way home for a well-deserved rest

Harry Styles is delighted his mum Anne Cox made it to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro following a week-long trek.

Anne set off on 28 September and reached the summit of Africa’s highest mountain yesterday morning.

‘Very proud of my mum today, she is on her way home after reaching the top of Mount Kilimanjaro,’ Tweeted Harry, 18.

Anne tackled the challenge with pal Vicky Sherlock to raise cash for Believe In Magic, a charity which funds once-in-a-lifetime experiences for seriously and terminally ill children.

The pair’s JustGiving page is tracking donations, which have already topped £28,000 thanks to kind gestures from One Direction fans as well as Anne and Vicky‘s friends and family.

‘Thank you to everyone who donated,’ says Harry
