Liam Payne is clearly feeling rebellious today!

One Direction’s Liam Payne may have had a tough breakup recently, but he certainly isn’t taking it out on his fans, leaking a WHOLE NEW SONG on his Twitter account yesterday. What a trooper!

The mischievious One Direction star wrote: ‘I shouldn’t really be doing this but!’ alongside an 8-second video of him lip-syncing to his own voice on the track.

The romantic tune, backed by acoustic guitar, features the lyrics, ‘Please believe me, don’t you see the things you mean to me/ Oh, I love you, I love you, I love, I love, I love Olivia.’ You just melted our hearts, Liam! Anyone else looking to get a name change right now?

In fact, it just shot from 4th most popular baby name in the UK to the #1 top spot.

With the boys playing their last ever show from the On The Road Again tour tomorrow, we reckon Liam’s just feeling a tiny bit rebellious – and we love him for it! This is now the third song we have heard from the Made in the AM album. First, we had the official release of ‘Perfect’ two weeks ago, which was shortly followed by the surprise drop of ‘Home’ when the One Direction boys were forced to postpone their Belfast gig due to Liam’s illness. At this rate, the next single could be just around the corner!

In contrast to the poptastic ‘Perfect’ and ‘Home’, ‘Olivia’ has a marching beat that caused some fans to make comparisons to another super-band..

Previously speaking about the ‘Made In The AM’ album on the Lorraine show, Liam’s fellow band member Harry Styles explained that this latest album was focussed more on the music itself rather than ‘touring’ songs: ‘we just were really focussed on writing the best songs that we could’. And maybe that explains why this tune breaks from the usual mould. And we LOVE it!

Funnily enough, Liam wasn’t the only one tweeting about his love for Olivia yesterday…

We’re betting Harry Styles’ ex Taylor Swift can’t help but love the well-timed ode to her feline friend, Olivia!
