Somewhere in this world, George Lamb has another sister

Though he’s settling into his role as camp dad in the I’m A Celebrity jungle nicely, Larry Lamb has revealed that there are some aspects of fatherhood that he’s yet to explore – as he’s spoken about his long lost daughter who he has never met.

The former EastEnders actor had a chat with Adam Thomas in scenes from Thursday’s edition (17th November), and was warmly discussing his relationship with son George Lamb.

When father-of-one Adam asked whether Larry, 69, saw a lot of George, he replied: ‘Yeah a lot. It’s great. I live in London more or less all the time so I see him a lot.

‘He’s living just across the street from me now so it’s lovely. We have a great time. We have a laugh.’

(D’aww, father-son goals or what?)

Inquisitive Adam wasn’t finished there though, and wondered whether Larry was a granddad. Though Larry confirmed that radio host George didn’t yet have a family, he had a less certain knowledge of whether or not he has a grandchild – as he revealed that as well as daughters Eva-Mathilde, Vanessa and actress Eloise Laurence, he has another daughter who he has no contact with.

‘I might have. I don’t know. I’ve got a daughter you know, a long lost daughter so I might be [a grandparent].’

Game changer. Larry then opened up to Adam, 29, about wanting to get in touch, and the reasons why he hadn’t tried so far – as he doesn’t want to disrupt her life.

‘I always have but the point it that her and her mum broke up before she was born and then she was adopted…so I never had anything to do with her and you can’t just go bouncing back into someone’s life, you know?

‘I’ve no idea at all where they are but I think about it a lot.’

Ahh, someone call Davina McCall and get these people on to Long Lost Family ASAP…
