It seems we're not the only ones excited about Jacqueline Jossa returning to her role as Lauren Branning...

Eastenders have confirmed Jacqueline Jossa’s long awaited return to the soap is set for 17 September.

And it seems Jac isn’t the only one excited about her return.

‘We are just catching up on some Eastenders,’ the proud mum wrote alongside a video of her six-month-old daughter dancing to the theme tune. ‘Ella loves it.’

We’re sure she’ll love it even more once her mummy is back on screen!

The 22-year-old actress will return to her role as Lauren Branning solely for her dad Max’s trial, where he stands accused of killing Lucy Beale.

A crime she knows he didn’t commit.

‘Max’s trial will be a very exciting storyline and Lauren’s return will be explosive because she knows Max didn’t kill Lucy,’ a inside source told The Sun. ‘She agreed not to unmask Bobby as the killer but surely that won’t be at the expense of her own father…’

Jac was last seen on our screens in February, before heading off on maternity leave and welcoming her daughter Ella that very month.

Since taking time out of the iconic soap at the start of the year, the young stars life has surprisingly played out like one.

After giving birth to Ella, she then got engaged to boyfriend Dan Osbourne – and since then the pair have endured numerous allegations made against the former TOWIE star from his ex Megan Tomlin.
