Star's pal Danny Hayward is behind the project

Jade Goody’s life story is to be brought to the stage.

The Big Brother star’s photographer pal Danny Hayward wants to honour her memory with a spectacular musical.

He will hold open auditions, the dates of which will be announced next month, to find an unknown to play Jade.

Jade was just an ordinary girl and the person who plays her will reflect that,’ Danny tells the BBC.

‘The most important thing is to give someone a break, just like she got.

‘Her dream was as a little girl was to be in a musical, so obviously when she passed away it felt fitting to do something like this.

‘It’s still in its infant stages, but it’s definitely going to happen.’
Jade’s rep Max Clifford adds: ‘It’s an idea that’s got legs, but it’s nothing definite.

‘It’s not all signed and sealed, but it’s something that’s likely to happen.’
