Kate Middleton joins the Queen to meet China’s President Xi and and dazzles pretty much everyone

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Kate Middleton dressed up in her finest but the wait has TOTALLY been worth it for these latest pictures.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 33, looked absolutely AMAZING last night at her first British state banquet at Buckingham Palace held to honour the visit of China’s President Xi to the UK.

In fact Kate reminded us of a fairy tale Disney princess in her dazzling tiara and stunning red dress by one of her fave designers Jenny Packham.

The gorgeous diamond and pearl headpiece is the Lotus Flower Tiara, once owned by the Queen Mother and previously worn by Kate at a diplomatic reception in 2013. It’s only the third time she’s worn a tiara, the only other occasion being her 2011 wedding day.

Kate also borrowed some chandelier diamond earrings for the occasion from the Queen and added two beautiful sparkling bracelets.

The mum-of-two kept those famous locks in place by wearing her hair up which further drew attention to THAT incredible dress.

Featuring a cinched-in waist and a long flowing skirt, the sweeping Jenny Packham number has to be one of our fave Kate Middleton frocks ever.

We also love the fact that Kate chose to wear red for the regal occasion, aka the national colour of China.

Prince William joined his wife at the banquet but all eyes were undoubtedly on the Duchess.

Many admirers have praised her glamorous ensemble on social media, including US stylist to the stars Rachel Zoe

Other fans described Kate as ‘dazzling’ and ‘absolutely beautiful’ – and we couldn’t agree more!

The Duchess was seated in the most prominent position for a female member of the royal family after the Queen at the lavish do, taking her place by President Xi’s right hand side whilst the Queen was on his left.

We’re loving this princess-esque look on Kate – more, please!
