Singer wants to do his bit for the global water crisis
Justin Timberlake plans to scale Mount Kilimanjaro to raise awareness of the global water crisis.
The singer, 28, hopes to complete the African trek with rapper Lupe Fiasco and singer Kenna.
‘I’ve been training four times a week to get my VO2 [oxygen consumption] levels up to expand my lungs,’ he tells GQ.
‘We’ll climb for a week straight, carrying 30 pounds on our backs. It’s going to be intense, but it’s going to be so rewarding. We’re going to be ready for it.’
Earlier this year, Cheryl Cole, 25, joined nine other celebs to climb the African mountain to raise money for Comic Relief.
