The princess-to-be is determined to add curves before her big day
Most brides want to lose weight to walk down the aisle, but super-slender Kate Middleton is no ordinary wife-to-be.
Kate’s shed weight rushing around planning the wedding,’ reveals a source.
But she’s worried that she’ll lose her curves completely, so she’s introducing a lot more carbs into her diet.
‘We’re not talking huge bowls of spaghetti, but certainly wholemeal toast, oatcakes, porridge and cereals.’
Kate’s nutritionist has advised her to lay off the protein-rich Dukan diet, which consists of four phases and doesn’t allow carbs and fats.
She’s also been advised to eat five to six times a day and to have a big breakfast.
Kate, who’s 5ft 10in and a tiny size 6, is determined to go up at least a dress size.
She’s also concentrating on keeping her digestive system in good order by opting for wholegrains rather than processed foods and making sure she has a probiotic yogurt drink every day.
The renowned gym bunny’s also exercising smarter, cutting back on weights because she’s worried about looking too muscular.
She’s continuing with her cardiovascular regime of running and cycling, but wants curves, which means easing off the repetitive weights,’ says our source.
For someone who’s as active as Kate, it isn’t easy to put on weight – she seems to burn calories without even trying.
‘But she also knows that being underweight can have implications for fertility and producing an heir is obviously pretty high up on the priority list for a future queen!’
