After a tough time, Kerry Katona tells how she overcame despair
In her new autobiography Too Much Too Young, Kerry Katona will detail how her life disintegrated after her break-up with Westlife singer Brian McFadden.
The mum-of-two will also explain how she got her life back on track.
After her marriage split, soon after winning I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in February 2004, Kerry had relationships with male model Dan Corsi, 31, and Dave Cunningham, 27 – but could not find happiness.
‘Kerry became a nervous wreck, crying all the time and blaming everyone other than herself for her plight,’ a ‘friend’ tells the People. ‘She lost her sense of self-worth.’
Former best pal Debbie Price, 41, also alleges that in her darkest moments, Kerry took drugs in front of her and knocked back whatever booze she could lay her hands on.
Brian McFadden quickly found new love with Aussie Neighbours star Delta Goodrem, 21, and now Kerry, 25, is pregnant and engaged to 35-year-old cabbie Mark Croft.
They plan to marry as soon as Kerry’s divorce from Brian comes through. She says: ‘I just want the world to know that I’m happy and in love.’
