Last week saw Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom call off their divorce, but the KUWTK star has revealed: 'It doesn't mean we're back together'
Khloe Kardashian has insisted that she’s not back together with husband Lamar Odom in her first interview since his shock collapse – despite the pair having called off their divorce in the wake of the life-threatening drama.
After Khloe rushed to Lamar’s side following the former NBA star being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel, court papers revealed last week showed the couple had requested the divorce proceedings be cancelled – promoting speculation of a reunion.
But the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has claimed the news doesn’t mean the pair are back together, revealing they’re not even thinking about getting back together whilst difficult decisions around Lamar’s recovery remain.
Speaking to People magazine, Khloe said: ‘It’s out in the media that we are back together, but I wish people understood that’s not in our thought process right now.
‘There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It’s not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now.’
Khloe, who has stayed at Lamar’s side ever since he was rushed to hospital two weeks ago, went on to reveal: ‘It’s not anything sexual or intimate. I want to be his support system.
‘Tragedy does make you reassess a lot of things, but when it comes to our relationship, it’s the same, except I’m here supporting him fully.’
But the 31-year-old beauty – who has put her relationship with boyfriend James Harden on hold in order to look after Lamar – also hinted that a reunion could be on the cards further down the line.
‘I’m not trying to get married tomorrow to anybody,’ she said. ‘It’s just bad timing to proceed with that right now. And also for medical reasons, it’s just smarter that gets on hold for a minute.
‘But that does not mean I’m back with Lamar. That’s a whole other thing that only time will tell. I can’t tell you what tomorrow brings.’
