Ker-ching! We dive inside the most expensive wedding in showbiz history to calculate just how Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have managed to spend so many, many millions
Although Kim Kardashian and Kanye West claim their Paris wedding this week is going to be a ‘very small and intimate affair’, Now hears different. In fact, we hear it’s going to be the most krazy wedding in celeb history ever.
Kim, 33, and Kanye, 36, have been keeping the details of their big day fiercely under wraps but they’ve reportedly set aside a whopping £75,000 per head for each of their 200 guests, with goodie bags containing thousands of pounds worth of trinkets and booze.
Here’s how the most expensive wedding in showbiz is totting up…
The tasteful wedding invitations alone are believed to have cost a mind-boggling £600 each. They were printed on expensive grey matt card with embossed gold writing.
After being snubbed by the super-grand Palace of Versailles, Kim reportedly fell for the 17th-century Château Vaux le Vicomte, where Eva Longoria married in 2007.
The venue can be booked for a whopping £28,000 per hour.
Kim‘s planning three wedding dresses, we’re told.
For Mother’s Day last week, Kim received a wall of roses, hydrangeas and peonies costing an estimated £30,000 – so we can’t wait to see what she plumps for on her wedding day.
Kim’s wedding body makeover
From £450 vampire facials – where your blood is injected back into your face – to massages and body wraps, Kim‘s not leaving anything to chance in her bid to look perfect on her big day.
Food & drink
Wolfgang Puck, who catered Kim‘s wedding to Kris Humphries, is said to be on standby.
Like the 15-carat engagment bling Kanye proposed to Kim with in October, the wedding bands are rumoured to be being made by celeb jeweller Lorraine Schwartz.
The wedding planner
Kanye wants a full orchestra for the ceremony and Kim reportedly wants Armenian folk music to honour her heritage. As well as an epic line-up of hip-hop artists, Coldplay are rumoured to be the surprise booking.
A-listers expected to attend include Gwyneth Paltrow, Pharrell Williams, Rihanna and Kelly Osbourne, to name a few. And they’ll need jets, boats and cars to get there.
According to some whispers, the cake is even gold plated.
