Reality TV star, Kim Kardashian, is in termoil as she battles the baby bulge again

After receiving constant abuse about her weight gain while pregnant with first baby North West, it’s no surprise Kim Kardashian is dreading the same treatment during her second pregnancy ­ especially since the weight is already starting to creep on.

Kim recently Tweeted: ‘Went to the Dr today for a check up, guess I was off on my 20 week mark by a week or two… But not the 20lbs LOL.’

The 34-year-old has been working out regularly with fitness trainer Tracy Anderson, as well as following a professional eating plan. And it had seemed like that was working, with people even speculating she was using a surrogate as her bump was so small! Kim Tweeted: ‘I secretly love the rumours I was faking my pregnancy because I was so skinny. Well, can’t hide it now.’

The reality star ­ whose baby boy with husband Kanye West, 38, is due in December ­ had tried not to get stressed out about her looks. After announcing the happy news in June, she said: ‘I’m really going to try to enjoy this pregnancy more and relax. This time around I have a nutritionist to keep me healthy. I’m trying not to eat like the first time. I put on a lot of water weight, so I’m trying to prevent that from happening again. At the end of the day, I’m trying to live in the moment and really enjoy the pregnancy.’

But it’s easier said than done, especially now that she¹s looking so much bigger. And Kim’s already panicking how much weight she’ll gain by her due date ­and how hard it’ll be to lose it again. A source tells Now: ‘Kim is totally freaking out over how rapidly she’s been gaining weight. She’s wondering how the hell she¹s going to handle it.’

While she was expecting North, Kim was the subject of vicious jibes about her change in body shape and her style. When she was five months pregnant with North, she said: ‘Every day I would hear people criticise me. Little by little it would chip away at my soul.’ Now at the same stage with baby No 2, she says: ‘I’m trying to prevent that happening again.’

As well as regular exercise sessions, Kim’s revealed she’s going on three-mile walks and doing 100 squats to keep her famous bum in shape. And she has a little help from maternity Spanx. She’s admitted: ‘Sometimes I wear two pairs under something, or stockings ­ it holds you in.’
