Georgia's famous mates are helping with her heartbreak
The actress – who confirmed her split from former Strictly Come Dancing partner Gio over the weekend – enjoyed a bank holiday get-together with famous mates Caroline Flack, Laura Whitmore and Ashley Roberts on Monday night and it looks like they had a ball.
It was an almighty Strictly love-in too, with Caroline having won the show in 2014 and Laura due to participate in the 2016 series.
Georgia, 25, posted a photo of the girls having fun together at dinner and wrote: ”Did we order another wine yet’ – flackers…
‘hello bank holiday. @thewhitmore is on the strictly detox. @carolineflack @iamashleyroberts 😚’
Meanwhile former Pussycat Doll Ashley – also an amazing dancer, btw – made it clear that the night out was all about the gals when she shared the image with the caption: ‘Cause this is ladies night @carolineflack @thewhitmore @georgiamay112’
Looks like fun! Georgia also proved that she’s still totally got the moves despite missing out on the Strictly glitter ball trophy last year in a funny video filmed by Caroline.
The clip shows Ms Foote managing to boogie across a bar with Ashley whilst walking with a suitcase – good skills, Georgia.
Sadly it looks like Georgia couldn’t quite forget about her heartbreak altogether though.
The former Coronation Street star posted links to her Instagram posts on Twitter and added a sobbing emoji face in each message, hinting that she’s still feeling the pain of her break-up from Gio.
Georgia and Giovanni – who met when they were paired together on Strictly last year – announced their shock split on social media and Georgia spoke of her sadness at it ending in an honest Tweet.
‘It is with great sadness we have decided to split up,’ the TV star wrote in an emotional message. ‘There is nobody else involved.
‘Although it was not an easy decision to make sometimes you realise that it is better to be friends and this is one of those times.
‘We both have very busy work schedules for the rest of the year so we are both going to focus on our upcoming work projects and we wish each other well for the future.’
She also later added: ‘Nothing i ever said about my feelings to gio were fake before people start
‘I still love him very very much. But things change. Please…
‘Be respectful to me at this time by not saying awful things. This is a hard time for me.’
Let’s hope some more nights out with her girly mates might help to ease Georgia’s heartbreak a little more.
