Something important has been keeping Cheryl busy

Liam Payne’s relationship with Cheryl has been under major scrutiny ever since THOSE rumours emerged about them possibly expecting a baby together.

But the One Direction star made sure the focus was on him on Monday night as he made a red carpet appearance without his girlfriend by his side.

Why has Cheryl been ‘screaming and squirming’ since Liam Payne’s return home?

Liam, 23, hit the London premiere of I Am Bolt, a documentary film about sprinter Usain Bolt, and totally worked the cameras when he posed for photos in a slick black suit.

The singer was also seen beaming as he took selfies with fans and hugged a fellow guest at the event.

He displayed a reminder of Cheryl, 33, though by posing with his rose-tattooed hand on display, an inking which bears a striking resemblance to the huge tattoo Chezza has on her back and bum.

Liam seemed to enjoy the evening and had earlier posted on social media: ‘Looking forward to the premiere in Leicester Square tonight! @usainbolt Always great work from my friends @fulwell73productions & @doyenglobal #IAMBOLT’

Many Chiam fans might have been disappointed not to see Cheryl join her man on the red carpet but she’s revealed that there was a very touching reason for her absence.

The Girls Aloud star was busy working hard up north to make plans about her Cheryl’s Trust foundation, which aims to support disadvantaged young people in the North East.

‘Such an exciting day in Newcastle making decisions about my charity #cherylstrust,’ Cheryl told her Twitter fans on Monday night.

Cheryl’s Trust is working with The Prince’s Trust to get a state-of-the-art centre set up in Newcastle to fulfil the charity’s aims.

Many of Cheryl’s fans have shown their support for what she’s been up to, with one commenting: ‘so very proud of you’
