Sending out best wishes to the troubled child actress
Lindsay Lohan‘s split from former fiancé Egor Tarabasov hasn’t been an easy one. With a number of photos emerging over the summer, showing them in heated arguments, it appeared that their relationship wasn’t in the best of places.
However, she’s now gone into full detail about the events that lead to their breakup – and at one point, she claims she was left in fear that he’d splash acid onto her face.
Speaking to Russian TV’s Channel One, Lindsay said: ‘I feared that Egor may splash acid in my face.
‘I went to bed and he broke into my house. He started strangling me.
‘I jumped out to the balcony and shouted with all my force, “He’s trying to kill me, call the police!” I am lucky to come to Moscow to speak.’
In July, police were called to a disturbance at their London home following reports of a ‘woman in distress’. Upon arrival, they forced their way inside the £3.2million house but found that the couple had already left.
It’s thought that Lindsay, has been paid £650,000 by the channel for the tell-all interview – though her own reasons for taking part in the interview is for the truth about the situation to finally be expressed to the public.
‘I wanted to do this interview because it’s time to tell the truth. There have been so many lies printed about me recently. I’ve kept quiet for so long but now I’m scared of what Egor might do to me and to himself.’
Egor, 23, has faced no charges since the incidents, and although it has been claimed that he begged Lindsay not to speak about their relationship, a spokesperson has fiercely denied any truth in this.
