Olympic gold medal-winning sprint cyclist Victoria takes off the Lycra shorts and reveals her ‘vulnerable' side

World and Olympic champion cyclist Victoria Pendleton took time out from training for London 2012 to get a sexy makeover showing off her gold medal-winning legs in a saucy photo shoot – and give an equally revealing interview.

‘People say as a sportsperson, you shouldn’t reveal your weaknesses. You shouldn’t come across as vulnerable. But I am vulnerable. I am emotional. What’s wrong with that?’ says the 31-year-old athlete.

‘As long as my legs are faster than the other girls’, it doesn’t matter.’

Victoria can’t wait for London 2012 to start and she’s determined to retain her cycling title.

In April she was cruelly booed by the crowd while racing against medal rival Anna Meares in Melbourne, Australia.

‘I thought: “Just you wait until we get to London. Just you wait,”‘ she says.

Victoria shows off her super-fit body in Esquire magazine. We think she’s a true inspiration, both on and off the track.

You go for gold, girl!
