Christine Lampard’s close pal Andrea McLean tells Now the Loose Women team will be on hand to help raise her little one

We were over the moon for Christine and Frank Lampard last week when they announced they were expecting their first baby after almost three years of marriage.

Although she’s excited, Christine, 39, also revealed she’s ‘really nervous’ and ‘anxious’ about having her first child.

But it sounds like the TV presenter has nothing to worry about as Andrea McLean – Christine’s close pal and fellow Loose Women panellist – has assembled a squad of ‘Loose Fairy Godmothers’ to help.

‘We’re going to be the baby’s Loose Fairy Godmothers,’ Andrea tells Now. ‘We are all so excited. We can’t wait! I don’t know if we’ve ever had a Loose Baby before. This could be our first, so it’s amazing.’

The Loose Women have their fair share of babies between them, so Christine is in good hands when it comes to advice.

After reassuring Christine that it’s ‘perfectly understandable’ to be nervous, Andrea – who tied the knot with Nick Feeney last year – tells Now, ‘She can ask us
a million questions and, between us, we have all the answers!’

With the world finding out the happy news via an adorable Instagram post last week, Andrea, 48, reveals the Loose Women ladies heard through Whatsapp.

The mum-of-two says, ‘We all found out on a Whatsapp chat. She was electronically ambushed by
all of us – it was so lovely.’

While the news went down
a storm with her pals, Christine took some convincing that it was true.

‘I did at least
seven or eight pregnancy tests,’ she admits.

While this is Christine’s first baby, Frank, 39, has two girls – Luna, 12, and Isla, 10 – from his relationship with Elen Rivas.

Recalling the moment they told the kids, Christine says, ‘Oh my gosh, they were just – excited doesn’t do it justice. They want a girl, that’s the only stipulation.’

No pressure then, Christine!
