One Direction fans react after two of the boys speak out on those break-up rumours
It’s been a whirlwind couple of days for One Direction fans, what with the small matter of the band apparently breaking up n’all, yet the boys themselves have kept silent throughout it all – until now.
But don’t get too upset, everyone – Louis insists that the lads will return and that they’re just taking a bit of a breather.
Louis, 23, also tried to ease his followers’ worries in a pretty adorable way by writing:
We’ll try not to, Louis! Niall, 21, also took to Twitter to reassure the band’s massive fanbase that the temporary split is nothing to worry about.
Oops! In the midst of all that emotion Niall soon realised that he’d made a typo – bless!
Many fans seemed much happier after hearing from Louis and Niall and they’re supportive of the boys’ decision to take some time out.
One admirer Tweeted Louis saying: ‘like i said to niall you really deserve it and i am happy to see that it’s not the end of one direction yet’
Another wrote: ‘THANK F**KING GOD I CAN NOW CHILL’ Er, yes you can.
Louis and Niall’s bandmates Harry Styles and Liam Payne haven’t directly addressed the upcoming split as of yet, though Harry did post a sweet message after a gig last night.
News broke of One Direction’s break plans on Monday, with a source telling The Sun newspaper that they’ll split next March following the release of their fifth studio album.
They’ve clearly got plenty lined up before the momentous hiatus though, with Niall and Louis making plans to appear on a football show on social media last night.
The lads ended up chatting with Sky Sports Goals On Sunday presenter Chris Kamara, who Tweeted Louis asking if he’d like to come on the show. This led to an invite for Niall too…
LOLs – we’re already looking forward to seeing this! It’ll help to keep our minds off the impending split… *sob*
