These five newbies will be sure to shake up the King's Road cobbles
It’s nearly time for the return of everyone’s favourite posh getaway hour, where the young and fabulous stalk the King’s Road and tell the world the most dramatic details of their lives…
That’s right, people – it’s time for Made In Chelsea! And we have our fingers firmly crossed for some more wise gems regarding family heirlooms, such as this:
Much of the build-up for series 13 has involved the shocker that Alexandra ‘Binky’ Felstead is expecting the very first MIC baby with Josh ‘JP’ Patterson – exciting stuff!
However, there’s also the fact that we’ll be introduced to FIVE new members of the MIC crew to love, hate, or want the wardrobe of. Here’s your run-down of new Chelsea chums…
Occupation: Lifestyle blogger
Mimi’s a long way from home in Chelsea, as she originally hails from land of maple syrup and dreamy Prime Ministers, Canada.
But we doubt her unfamiliarity with London will stop this online sensation from making waves – she’s confident and self assured.
‘I did not know what the show was until about six months ago,’ she confesses. ‘I’d never really watched it until I was approached to be on it – but I’ve not come in blind. If I have my values and my morals, I’m not going to regret everything.
‘I’m a very honest person, I feel very confident and I’m excited to see myself on the big screen – I’ve never really been on TV before.’
Occupation: …similarly, unknown
Now doesn’t Sam look like a complete natural! Described as a ‘troublemaker’, we’re expecting him to be the centre of a number of dramas – he previously dated model Lottie Moss (sister of Kate), who is the current girlfriend of MIC castmate Alex Mytton.
‘Cheeky charmer’ Sam has further proved his cheekiness with a tweet about getting rather acquainted with Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo: ‘Just saw Toffs nip #ilikeit’. Lovely.
Occupation: ‘Relaxing’, after finishing uni in Summer 2016
Unlike some of her other fellow newbies, socialite Daisy already has some familiarity with the gang…and it’s not all been positive.
‘I knew quite a few people from the show before I started,’ she’s revealed. ‘I went to school with Sam, Liv, Frankie, Louise, and Rosie, Julius is a family friend, Toff and I have been friends for ages…
‘I’ve already had some dramas with various people since I joined, but we’re good now… I’m good with everyone… No wait, I’m not. I’m single. Possibly got my eye on a few people. You’ll see.’
We can’t wait…
Occupation: ex-professional rugby player
Hailing from Northern Ireland, James is already a star on the rugby pitch. And with friends in Julius and JP, we can imagine that the transition to Made In Chelsea star will be a piece of cake…
The phrase ‘brains and beauty’ may be slightly hackneyed, but in this case we’ll allow it! University of Edinburgh student Ella Willis (no relation to Emma!) is a hard worker with her eye on the prize of a financial career post-graduation – but rumour has it, she already has her eyes on one of her castmates.
Made In Chelsea is back on E4 on Monday 20th March at 9.00pm
