The Big Brother star has found himself in ANOTHER scandal

Since his appearance on Big Brother earlier this year, Marco Pierre White Jr’s name has rarely been in the press for positive reasons. From those extremely raunchy scenes with housemate Laura Carter, to some questionable acts on Snapchat, Marco Jr has courted controversy for months on end.

And now, he’s allegedly involved in one of the most bizarre, extreme scandals yet – as he’s been arrested on suspicion of stealing nearly £200,000 worth of cash and jewellery from a family friend last week.

Marco, son of TV chef Marco Pierre White, was reported by The Sun to have been accused of taking goods from a businessman during a party at the man’s £3million penthouse.

Previously, it had been reported that a friend of Marco Sr had been robbed by an unnamed celebrity, with the help of a hired prostitute – and on Sunday (4th September) a passer-by saw the Big Brother contestant being put in handcuffs in relation to the incident, in Chelsea, west London.

Apparently, he looked ‘embarrassed’ to be recognised, and ‘the officer then put him in handcuffs’. According to the newspaper, Marco Jr was questioned by police before being held overnight.

A Met Police spokeswoman said: ‘Police received an allegation of theft at a property in Townmead Road, SW6.

‘The allegation was made to police on 31 August and the incident was said to have taken place on the previous day.

‘A 21-year-old male was arrested on Sunday 4th September on suspicion of theft and taken to a West London police station.

‘He was bailed to return on a date in early November.’
