Show runner-up wants UK fame first

Marcus Collins won’t be heading to America like One Direction any time soon.

The 23-year-old singer – who worked as a hairdresser before finding fame on The X Factor – has revealed that he’s keen to win over the British public before attempting Stateside success.

‘America might be a little ambitious for me,’ he says in the Daily Star. ‘I want to focus on the UK – it’s where my heart is.’

Marcus‘ debut single Seven Nation Army is out now.
