Sometimes, friends comments hurt the most...

Mario Falcone is one of the latest reality stars to get rhinoplasty, joining the ranks with Charlotte Crosby and Ferne McCann.

But while a lot of other stars cite online bullying as the reason they got a nose job, Mario was actually influenced by his TOWIE co-stars: James ‘Arg’ Argent and James ‘Diags’ Bennewith.

The 28-year-old told This Morning hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes: ‘Arg and Diags I was disagreeing with them and they said something about my nose.

‘They aren’t vindictive they only said it in jest.’


The clip from the show saw Mario Falcone having a minor argument with Arg in a club, and when Mario walked away, Diags said: ‘He should keep his big nose out of it.’

Then the other guys all laughed at the comment.

Giovanni Fletcher‘s brother continued: ‘It was just playing on my mind, in other scenes I kept turning around and asking if something was wrong with my nose.’

Ruth Langsford then asked if the comment on the show provoked any sort of social media response and, of course, it did…

‘Two twitter accounts: one called Mario’s Nose.’

But he’s feeling a lot more comfortable with his appearance now and has even admitted he can take selfies without feeling bad. So that’s good.

His mum has also been supportive of the whole thing. At first she told him that he was good just the way he was,

‘My mum knows me all too well, she knows if my mind is fixated on something than I’ll do it. She was supportive. ‘
