Tennis legend has completed her treatment
The former Wimbledon champ was diagnosed with the disease in February.
But, after a lumpectomy and a course of radiotherapy, Martina, 53, has now been given the all-clear.
I think I had 27 or 28 treatments over 6 weeks,’ the tennis star tells The Sun.
It’s like a 6-week prison term, there’s no freedom and every day is a reminder.
But I was very lucky. I dodged a bullet, a big one. It was a wake-up call, no doubt about it. Hopefully it won’t come back.’
