Jess appeared to have found love with Max on the recent series of the ITV programme, and the couple were crowned the winners of the show in mid-June.

But just six weeks later they split – and Max was soon snapped locking lips with Charlotte on a night out in London, before sharing a hotel room with the northern beauty.

And now Jess has spoken out about her former boyfriend, branding him a ‘player’ who’s trying to win a ‘Mark Wright lifestyle’.

Speaking to Reveal magazine, the 22-year-old brunette said: ‘He used me to win the show, and I think he’s only with Charlotte for fame, too.

‘He comes across as nice and gentlemanly, but he’s not – he’s a player. So good luck to Charlotte or whoever comes along next.’

Jess also claims to have been in touch with Max’s ex-girlfriend since her relationship with him soured – and made some surprising discoveries in doing so.

‘He was telling her he never liked me, that being with me was all an act, and al he thought about in the villa was her,’ she revealed.

She added: ‘He told his ex-girlfriend he wanted the ‘Mark Wright lifestyle’ and he’ll do anything to be famous.’

But, whilst Jess has been opening up about her ex, Max has been gushing about 25-year-old Charlotte, telling Star magazine: ‘She’s got a lovely body.’

He also insisted that nothing happened the night they ended up in a hotel room together, saying: ‘We cuddled and had a cup of tea in the morning.’
