The legal battle between Mel, Stephen Belafonte and Lorraine Gilles rages on

Mel B has been granted a restraining order against the former nanny of her children, Lorraine Gilles.

As Mel is involved in a bitter divorce from estranged husband Stephen Belafonte, the drama has spilled out to involve Lorraine – as Mel alleges that he had an affair with the nanny, resulting in a pregnancy that was terminated.

Both Stephen and Lorraine have denied these claims – yet Lorraine has since claimed that she was intimate with Spice Girl star Mel over seven years, beginning when she was a ‘naïve and curious 18-year-old’.

Mel’s lawyer, Larry Bakman, appeared at Van Nuys court in Los Angeles this week in order to get a previous restriction against Lorraine extended. To support Mel’s request, he presented evidence showing ‘a pattern of harassing and annoying behaviour from the nanny’.

He told the judge: ‘There were a number of incidents over a matter of time all designed to harass and annoy my client.’

Happily for Mel, the order was granted, with the judge stating: ‘Miss Brown has need for a restraining order for Miss Gilles. The court will issue a personal and stay away order as requested.’

As a result, Lorraine is ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from her at all times, until the restriction runs out on May 2nd, 2022.

Mel’s initial, temporary restraining order against Lorraine came in April, in an attempt to gain access to a storage locker – Mel believed contained sex tapes and photos that Lorraine was holding in order to embarrass her with in future.

However, no private videos or pictures were found in the locker, and Lorraine denies ever having had any such material.

This follows her restraining order granted against film producer Stephen, as well as being awarded custody of their five-year-old daughter Madison.
