‘We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US,’ Michael, 41, says in the post.

‘We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children.’

Both Michael and model Luisana have cancelled their scheduled work commitments in order to be with Noah.

‘Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well,’ the statement reads.

‘At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.’

The sad news was also shared by Luisana on her own Facebook page.

It was earlier reported by Perez Hilton that Luisana had apparently flown to the US with Noah due to concerns about his health and doctors had initially thought he may have mumps.

Unfortunately further investigations showed that the toddler has cancer.

It comes after Michael and Luisana welcomed their second son, Elias, earlier this year.

In June 2015 Noah was treated for ‘serious burns’ after accidentally pouring boiling water over himself when he climbed on a kitchen worktop.

The youngster had a stay in hospital and Michael later revealed that he was ‘happy and healthy’, though Luisana admitted in an interview that she still asks herself how it happened.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Buble family at this difficult time.
