I’m A Celebrity threatened by Australian bush fire?

It’s also a wee bit awkward, with this year’s highest-paid star getting a whopping £175,000 MORE than the lowest. Blimey.

Carol Vorderman is the lady taking home the biggest pay cheque, according to The Sun, and is set to earn a staggering £200,000 for her stint down under.

Second to her is former footballer Wayne Bridge. He’s about to bag £150,000 as bosses hope he’ll spill the beans on former Chelsea teammate John Terry’s affair with his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel.

Things don’t look too shabby for the actors hitting the jungle either. Both Larry Lamb and Adam Thomas are reportedly set for six-figure deals.

An insider reveals: ‘Carol doesn’t need the money so ITV had to come up with something decent because she’s the show’s main focal point at the moment as she is the most recognisable star.

‘Going in the jungle won’t hurt her career and so £200,000 is basically free money.

‘Larry and Adam are both on the telly a lot and will be a good draw for soaps fans – especially Adam who will bring in the younger viewers.’

Next in line for an impressive reward is Strictly’s Ola Jordan – she’s reportedly going to get £90,000 for her appearance. Meanwhile Scarlett Moffatt will walk away with £70,000.

Lisa Snowdon and Sam Quek’s money is between £70,000 and £40,000.

Poor old Joel Dommett and Jordan Banjo come in last though, with each getting £25,000 for heading to the jungle.

‘Jordan and Joel are virtual unknowns so the money is low for them,’ the source adds. ‘But still not a bad pay day and the jungle experience could really boost their careers.’

Definitely not a bad pay-off at all considering what these guys could come up against on the show – eating a HUGE spider comes to mind!

Good luck to all of this year’s line-up! I’m A Celebrity kicks off on Sunday 13 November at 9pm on ITV.
