We’ve already watched the first episode and we can tell you now that Olly Murs gets fairly emotional…
Tonight’s set to be an exciting night as The X Factor returns to our screens, making Saturday evenings that little bit more entertaining!
Sadly, Rita Ora couldn’t make it.
If you don’t want to know the first episode goss then look away NOW. If you’re keen to know exactly what goes on then keep on reading…here’s the top SIX moments from tonight’s show.
There’s a singing politician!
Well kind of. Tom Bleasby from Leeds is currently studying politics in London and is supported at the auditions by his mum and gran. The 19-year-old, who has previously done a virtual duet with Jessie J on Youtube, has a blimmin’ incredible voice.
We defy you not to be impressed…
Simon Cowell gives ‘the biggest four yeses’ he’s ever given.
Yup you read that right! The music mogul is so impressed at The Fourth Power, a girl group from The Philippines, that he gives them the ultimate compliment of all time.
Infact, our Now writer who attended the press launch, actually found herself clapping.
They pretty much blow the roof off Wembley with their rendition of Jessie J’s Bang Bang.
Olly Murs’ friend auditions
Emotions run high as Olly’s long time friend and former band mate from Essex takes to the stage in a bid to impress the judges. Jon Goody, 27, is a bag of nerves though and Rita even admits that he’s ‘lacking star quality.’ Does he make it through though?
Oh and FYI – Olly and Jon were in a band together called The Small Town Blaggers. Nice!
There’s already a new X Factor hotty!
Mason Noise, 21, impresses Rita so much when he sings Justin Timberlake’s sexy hit Senorita, that the judge actually ends up strutting her stuff around the judge’s table. Oh it’s all very saucy!
A Whitney Houston lover knocks our socks off
You just know that dentist receptionist Lauren Murray is going to be good. The 25-year-old belts out an incredible rendition of Whitney’s Somebody Else’s Guy and leaves the judges more than impressed. Nick Grimshaw’s exact reaction was simply, ‘WOW!’
Man and Woman are…awful
Duo Man and Woman are exactly that – a man and a woman. They’re in an on/off relationship although claim to be ON right now! Nevertheless, after negative feedback from the judges, they walk off stage having a domestic. So we’re guessing maybe now they’re OFF?!
Tune in to The X Factor tonight at 8pm on ITV.
