Usain Bolt thinks footballer could learn from Wayne Rooney

Cristiano Ronaldo needs to toughen up, according to Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt.

The sprinter, who won the 100m and 200m events at the Beijing games in 2008, thinks the footballer gets knocked down too easily.

‘I’m going to tell Ronaldo to stop being such a wuss,’ he says. ‘I’d like to see more of Wayne Rooney’s fight in Ronaldo.

‘And he has to stop falling over all the time.’

Usain, 22, plans to give Cristiano, 24, some advice when he meets him and his Manchester United teammates next month.

‘His problem is that when he runs he leans forward and loses his balance,’ Usain tells The Sun.

‘He needs to sprint more upright.’
