Jay raps about being betrayed on new album

Jay-Z has released lyrics from tracks on his upcoming album Magna Carta Holy Grail and it’s already got people talking.

Beyoncé Knowles‘ hubby angrily talks about being cheated on in bonus track Holy Grail, causing many to speculate who the mystery woman could be.

‘Keep cheating on me / What I do / I took her back / Fool me twice / That’s my bad / I can’t even blame her for that,’ Jay, 43, raps in the song.

He also complains about life in the spotlight, saying: ‘Give it up for fame / But I still don’t know why / Why I love it so much.

‘Caught up in all these lights and cameras / Haters in the paper / Photo shoots with paparazzi / Can’t even take my daughter for a walk.’

It’s not known if the tune, which features Justin Timberlake and also uses lyrics from Nirvana hit Smells Like Teen Spirit, is wholly autobiographical or not.

Jay, whose real name is Shawn Carter, has been teasing fans with the lyric snippets ahead of the album’s release on 4 July.

The track listing has also been released and hints at a tune dedicated to the rapper’s 1-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter named Jay-Z Blue.
