Actor asked to appear in follow-up to hit movie

Patrick Swayze is said to have been approached to star in a Dirty Dancing sequel.

The actor was reportedly given weeks to live after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March.

But after undergoing chemo, Patrick, 55, is looking healthy and is apparently in demand.

‘It’s great news Patrick is so well and there are a lot of offers for him,’ a source tells the Daily Express.

‘Everyone wants him to star in a Dirty Dancing sequel. It’s just a matter of him making his mind up.’

Patrick is currently filming new FBI TV series The Beast.

The original Dirty Dancing was released in 1987.

A less successful follow-up, Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, was made in 2004.
