After having to cut his original honeymoon with Emily MacDonagh short, Peter Andre was hoping to jet off again this year - but the plans are now on hold

Just three weeks after tying the knot with Emily MacDonagh, Peter Andre has come back down to earth with a bump.

Having been forced to cut short their honeymoon last month, a disappointed Pete has revealed that – despite hoping to jet off on Honeymoon Part Two later this year – the plans are now on hold until 2016.

Writing in his New magazine column, Peter revealed: ‘I told you last week how Ems and I were hoping to take the second part of our honeymoon later this year, but I don’t think we’ll be able to go until next year now.’

He added: ‘We’re both so busy, which is, of course, great.’

The Mysterious Girl singer was forced to cut short his honeymoon with his beautiful bride after he was summoned to give evidence at a court hearing in a case involving ITV2 and his show’s former producer Neville Hendricks.

The pair were only able to squeeze in a quick mini-moon, spending a few nights on a yacht in the Greek Islands, before he had to return to the UK.

And whilst the court hearing continues, there’s plenty going on elsewhere at Casa Andre.

Yesterday saw Emily head out for her first day of work as a qualified doctor – leaving Pete at home to look after the kids.

And Pete proved what a good husband he is – by cooking new wife a lovely meal to come home to after her first day at the office.

Emily, 25, started her new job as a doctor after years of training, leaving Peter at home with the couple’s 19-month-old daughter Amelia and Pete’s two kids, Junior, 10, and Princess, eight.

After Now tweeted Pete saying: ‘We hope you’re treating Emily to a nice dinner after her first day as a doctor, @MrPeterAndre,’ the man himself replied with; ‘I did 🙂 she came home to a wonderful home cooked meal and three kids :)))))’.
