Life for Peter Andre has got to be a little tricky at the moment, what with him juggling his flourishing movie career, his music gigs still coming in thick and fast, let alone having four kids to look after!

But while that already makes our mind boggle, on top of it all Pete’s also been dragged into the messy split between ex-wife Katie Price and her third husband Kieran Hayler.

Phew! The poor lad deserves a break!

But, thankfully, wife Emily Macdonagh was there to provide him with just that during a rare day off they had together.

While the sun was shining, Pete and Emily headed out on an adorable day-date. But while you maybe thinking they’d take romantic stroll or go on a picnic – the pair actually did something a little different. They went to the garden centre.

We feel his caption maybe tinged with a hint of sarcasm.

But while he may have been poking fun at how green-fingered him and Emily have become this summer, his fans were just happy to see he’s doing a-okay!

Beautiful couple,’ one of his fans wrote. While others added: ‘You both look very well’ and ‘The perfect date!

In fact, people even began to provide the couple with tips on the best garden centres in the country. Ah, how we love social media!

Pete recently talked about his new found love to gardening saying that Emily and daughter Amelia had got him into it.

The 45-year-old told new! that after three years of marriage they’ve finally found a common interest. He said: ‘I know it sounds flippin’ crazy but Emily and I have found a common interest in gardening.

‘Don’t ask me why but I went out into the garden one beautiful sunny day to water the plants and that was it. I was hooked.’
