Was there more to Lauren’s involvement than we originally thought?
The actress – who has resumed her role as Lauren Branning following her maternity leave – had viewers speculating about a HUGE possible plot twist yesterday when she posed in a cardboard cut-out baring the words: ‘I killed Lucy Beale’
‘Couldn’t help myself !’ Jac, 23, captioned the photo. LOLs.
EastEnders viewers will remember that the long-running ‘Who killed Lucy Beale?’ storyline culminated in a sensational live episode screened in February 2015, when it was shockingly revealed that her younger brother Bobby had murdered her by hitting her with a music box.
And even though Jacqueline’s snap was all in good fun, it’s got fans pondering if Lauren might have been more involved than we’d originally thought!
‘Major plot twist,’ one fan joked, whilst another wrote: ‘Wait what I’m confused someone explainxx’
Sorry, conspiracy theorists, but we think Jac was just having a laugh! Although if Kathy Beale can come back from the dead… *ponders*
Anyway, all plot teasers aside, it looks like Jacqueline is really enjoying being back on the show.
The brunette star has been involved in some pretty juicy storylines since Lauren returned to our screens full-time in May, especially given that she showed up with Steven Beale as her love interest (having last been seen moving to New Zealand with his brother Peter – awks).
Jac seems to be having a ball off-screen too and yesterday posed for a selfie with several of her castmates.
‘Eastenders buddies,’ she wrote. Awww.
Meanwhile life away from Albert Square seems pretty dandy too.
Jacqueline – who got engaged to former TOWIE star Dan Osborne last summer – has been posting lots of pictures of their 16-month-old daughter Ella on Instagram of late and they’re all kinds of adorable.
Good fun all round then!
