The royal was spotted enjoying the sport at Alexandra Palace
Prince Harry cemented his status as a sports enthusiast by joining darts fans at Alexandra Palace for the World Darts Championship at the weekend.
The royal, 26, is frequently seen at rugby and polo matches, but spectators were surprised to see him watching darts stars Gary Anderson and Adrian Lewis, who both won their semi-finals.
‘Prince Harry came up to me after the match and gave me a hug. You don’t expect that when you come from Stoke,’ Adrian told The Sun.
The Prince sat in the VIP area with a number of friends, including former England rugby star, Will Greenwood, 38.
Harry had slipped in unnoticed while the lights were down, but darts fans cheered when they saw him on the big TV screens among a boozy crowd of 2,500.
‘I’ve seen Harry at Twickers for the rugby, but I never thought I’d see the day when he turned up at Ally Pally for the darts,’ said commentator Sid Waddell.
