The show – which sees a host of stars live and work on a farm – has reportedly started filming for a new series which will feature stars including Megan McKenna and Charlotte Dawson.

Now we can’t exactly imagine these two getting down and dirty for farming work but would we tune in to watch it? Hell yes!

‘Producers wanted to sign up popular reality stars that have already had huge success on other shows,’ a source tells The Sun Online. ‘It was a no-brainer for them to go after Megan McKenna and Charlotte Dawson who have both thrived in countless reality TV programmes.

‘They wanted some top names to sex the series up to attract younger viewers, instead of relying on its previous audience.

‘Bosses hope viewers will entertained by the two glamorous women who will be completely out of their comfort zones when knee deep in manure.’

Megan has already been posting selfies with Charlotte, with the duo seemingly kitted out in casual clothing.

Other famous names reportedly taking part include TOWIE’s Bobby Norris and dancer Louie Spence.

The Farm originally aired for two series in 2004 and 2005 and saw several celebs carry out a range of agricultural tasks in an attempt to gain the title of ‘Top Farmer’.

Jeff Brazier and Keith Harris (complete with his puppet Orville the Duck) were crowned winners of each year, but it was the sight of David Beckham’s former PA Rebecca Loos masturbating a pig to collect semen that became the most memorable moment.

This year’s stars will have to impress two of the UK’s top farmers to win the show.

‘They’re hoping for some top names to do team and individual challenges to see who can most closely replicate the characteristics of the best farmers – patience, passion, resilience, adaptability and, most importantly, hard work,’ an insider says.

Should make for interesting viewing!
