Magically advanced, but not quizically

Richard Jones may have dazzled the country with his magic tricks on Britain’s Got Talent, but before then he tried his tricks on the nation’s favourite quiz show: The Chase.

Unfortunately, sleight of hand doesn’t quite work as well when answering questions, and while he showed off his tricks to Bradley Walsh, they didn’t work well on Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan.

The 25-year-old lost out to The Chaser and she made sure to remind him of that after his semi-final win, because that’s just what Chasers do.

She tweeted after he won last week: ‘I’m chuffed for @richjonesmagic winning his #BGT semi-final – great to see he wasn’t put off TV after I beat him on #TheChase :)’

Ice cold.

In other news for the army man, it looks like his future with the armed forces are secure. He recently suggested he would leave the army if offered something really big, but it looks like he’s not quite willing to let go.

Speaking on This Morning, Richard Jones said: ‘I love my job in the army so I’m going to carry on doing that.

‘It’s a very busy time of the year. I hope to stay in the army and I’m living the dream at both fronts at the moment.’

But what is scarier, putting your life on the line for the army, facing off against Simon Cowell or quizzing against The Vixen.
