They battle it out on Twitter over fashion lines
The two women, who have also competed for Chris‘s affections in the past, have taken to Twitter – where else? to announce rival style brands.
Karrueche Tweeted the flyer for the Atlanta launch this week of her brand, The Kill, which she designed with Chris, 23.
Not long after, Rihanna, 24, Tweeted about her new line for River Island, writing: ‘And for the fly girls in the U.S. Im very happy to announce that my #RihannaForRiverIsland fashion line will be carried by OPENING CEREMONY.’
Opening Ceremony is a hip US store, though the River Island range won’t be launched until London Fashion Week in the UK.
Rihanna also Tweeted images of herself modelling for UK Vogue and on the Milan catwalk, as if to reinforce the message that she and she alone is the queen of fashion.
Karrueche‘s fashion line was originally intended as a female version of Chris‘s fashion range, Black Pyramid.
If she’s concerned about the competition, Karrueche hasn’t showed it. ‘[Chris] hasn’t really given me advice. He completely trusts me with this line. He’s seen my designs and he loves everything so far. He definitely has my back and pushes us forward as well,’ she says.
We’ll see what Rihanna makes of that!
