Jaymi Hensley, who rose to fame as one fourth of X Factor runners up Union J, and Britain's Got Talent winners Collabro are on hand to make Sam Bailey's show a belter

She’s been out of the limelight for much of the past two years since winning the X Factor in 2013, but Sam Bailey has made a grand entrance back into showbiz by announcing a new concert.

On 12th October, Sam will perform at London’s Lyric Theatre with the help of another X Factor alumnus – Jaymi Hensley from Union J. He’s just one of her many musical guests, alongside Britain’s Got Talent winners Collabro and West End leading man Michael Xavier.

Speaking about the upcoming performance, Sam, 38, said: ‘I can’t wait to take the stage in London’s incredible West End and have the chance to perform some of my favourite musical theatre numbers. It’s going to be a fantastic night with a few surprises for the audience! I’m particularly excited to show you all a completely different side of myself from the one you saw on The X Factor…’

Well, this all sounds very exciting! Does this mean we should expect Lloyd Webber classics like Midnight and Whistle Down The Wind instead of Sam’s huge renditions of Whitney ballads? Will there be a Jaymi and Sam duet involved somewhere?

No more details have been revealed at the moment, so we’ll have to wait and see what’s on her setlist – and to hear about whether a new, West End-themed album could be in the works!
