Fans give Scott Disick some tough advice following an emotional post about his and Kourtney Kardashian's daughter Penelope
The 32-year-old shared a birthday post for daughter Penelope, who turned 3 yesterday, and spoke of how she was one of his greatest achievements.
‘1 of the only things I’m proud off about myself. Happybdayp,’ Scott captioned an Instagram montage featuring pictures of the little girl.
It’s thought that Scott spent the day in Florida with friends whilst Kourtney, 36, took Penelope on a trip to Disneyland in Los Angeles. She was joined by sister Kim, niece North West and mum Kris Jenner.
News of the couple’s split came out on Sunday night. It came after pictures emerged showing Scott looking cosy with his ex Chloe Bartoli on holiday in France last week whilst Kourtney was at home in LA with their children Mason, Penelope and baby Reign.
Party-loving Scott’s emotional message for Penelope didn’t go down well with some fans who gave him some tough advice in response.
One follower wrote: ‘Cut the pity party, Man the f**k up and be a father these kids can be proud of!! Enough is enough.’
Another commented: ‘Make her to be proud of you. You’re better than this, you’re stronger and I know you can get through it. ❤’
It’s been reported that Scott’s struggle with the responsibilities of fatherhood was one of the reasons behind his break-up with Kourtney.
‘He loves his kids. But he was never ready to be a stay-at-home dad,’ a source tells People. ‘Scott rebels against the crazy responsibility of having three kids.
‘He acts out, he drinks too much and he embarrasses Kourtney. It was becoming a poor environment for the kids to be raised in, and she refused to let that be the case. They are her first priority.’
Kourtney hasn’t commented on the split but has been posting photos with sisters Kim and Khloé on Instagram.
The trio posed for some selfies on Tuesday and Kourtney proudly wrote: ‘My aces. Can you have two aces?! Well lucky me, I do.’
