Singer arrested on suspicion of drug possession but freed after questioning
Amy Winehouse has been released on bail after her arrest for suspicion of drug possession yesterday.
The singer voluntarily attended
Limehouse police station where she was quizzed about a 19-minute video, which allegedly shows her smoking crack cocaine.
Around 1pm today a 24-year-old woman from the Camden area attended a London police station by arrangement and was arrested in connection with the alleged possession of a controlled drug, a Met spokesman tells the BBC.
This is in connection with an investigation connected to footage passed to the Metropolitan Police on 22 January.
Amy, 24, was questioned for almost 10 hours and left at 10.10pm accompanied by her dad Mitch, 57.
It is believed she was seen by psychiatrists and lawyers before she was quizzed by officers.
Amy will return for further questioning later this month and had a sleepless night after her tough day. She pictured roaming the streets at 4am, heading for a petrol station where she collected supplies including magazines and drinks.
