The singer’s new perfume ad is banned from daytime television

Beyonce Knowles naked in the bath, caressing her boobs and writhing around in a skimpy dress has been labelled too sexy for daytime TV.

The 29-year-old flirts with the camera while singing Peggy Lee‘s Fever in the steamy ad for her first perfume Heat – and it’s getting TV viewers hot under the collar.

After 14 complaints that the commercial is ‘sexually suggestive’ and unsuitable for kids, the Advertising Standards Authority has pulled it off the air before 7.30pm.

‘Although we considered that the ad was unlikely to be harmful to

adults or older children, we considered that Beyonce‘s body movements

and the camera’s prolonged focus on shots of her dress slipping away

created a sexually provocative ad that was unsuitable to be seen by

young children,’ the ASA decided.

But the ad was simply intended ‘to reflect the singer Beyonce‘s personal “sexy chic” style,’ explains a Coty UK spokesman.
