Legendary actress has congestive heart failure

Elizabeth Taylor was reportedly close to death when she was put on a life support machine earlier this week.

The veteran actress, 76, who was rushed to hospital with pneumonia on 15 July, suffers from congestive heart failure.

Her condition is now thought to have stabilised enough for her to be allowed to breath without medical help.

‘The doctors thought they were going to lose her,’ a source tells the National Enquirer.

‘She’s still very sick, but she’s past the crisis.’

Liz, who uses a wheelchair because of osteoporosis, is being watched over by her family.

The star, who has been married and divorced 8 times, has 3 biological children and adopted a fourth with Richard Burton.
