Comedian taken to hospital suffering from exhaustion
Mathew Horne shocked theatre-goers when he passed out during a performance yesterday.
The Gavin & Stacey star was in the middle of a scene in his West End play Entertaining Mr Sloane when he collapsed.
Co-star Simon Paisley Day immediately called out for any doctors in the house to help.
Mathew, 30, lay on the stage for ten minutes before paramedics took him to hospital.
The audience were later asked to leave the Trafalgar Theatre and co-star Imelda Staunton, 53, apologised for the cancellation.
Mathew has now been released and is expected to take some time off.
His spokesman said he collapsed from exhaustion after working flat out for three months.
Imelda has also pulled out due to illness, and understudies will replace them both.
