Snooki has defended her husband amidst rumours that his personal email address is a registered Ashley Madison account.

Oh dear… this Ashley Madison hack is becoming a bit of a handful really, single handedly ruining an estimated 37-million marriages and all that. But hey, all in a days work right?!

One lady who is having none of it, however, is 27-year-old Snooki (of the Jersey Shore fame. You know, likes a drink. Or seven).

This past week Us Weekly claimed to have found an email address registered with the controversial site (it is tailored to aid people in finding affairs) that matches the personal account of her husband, Jionni LaValle.

The mother of two, real name Nicole Polizzi, took to her Instagram account last night to post an entire essay to all 7.7 million of her followers (we say essay because it is literally the length of our A-Level English exam plus a good chunk of our Religious Education one too).

Don’t worry people, we’ll break this one down for you all…

Snooki writes, ‘This morning when I got a call from my publicist that a story was going to be printed on my husband “allegedly” signing up on Ashley Madison, I laughed- and said lets not even comment and give the story any juice…but now everyone is wondering what I think about it- here it is”.

She continued, ‘Jionni is the the most humble, respectful, and most loyal souls I know. I mean hello, that’s why I married him. He’s a stand up guy who loves his family more than anything in this world.’

When my family is being bashed for no reason- mama bear is gonna say what’s up. So no, my husband didn’t sign up on that website to cheat on me. Honestly, if he wanted to cheat- he would go out and do it. Not sign up on a website and pay for it. Jionni is a good guy and doesn’t need his name tarnished. Nor does our family’… you go mama bear.

Snooki then signed off the post with a ‘Love you babe…I know you would never cheat on me’ and, of course, a customary drama-in-the-marriage hashtag, ‘#myfamilyrocks’.

With over four-thousand comments of support such as ‘Rock on w your beautiful family’, ‘Well said girl!’, ‘Nicely put! Mama bears gotta step up!’, we’re sure the Snookster will be right as rain in no time.

And can we just say, we are loving this ‘mama bear’ thing…
