This new G-Shore video is seriously weird...

Geordie Shore is BACK – and considering the new series hasn’t even started yet, the cast have already managed to cause a load of chaos.

And trust Geordie veteran and one of the only remaining original housemates, Gary Beadle to stir up controversy after the brand new trailer dropped showing a ‘pregnant’ Gaz giving birth to a load of new housemates.

Yup, really.

As well as pointing out the new clip is super bizarre – seriously, watch it – the concept for the video has got MTV fans all riled up for a totally different reason.

In the clip, returning housemates Aaron Chalmers and Nathan Henry drag a ‘heavily-pregnant’ Gaz into hospital before Chloe Ferry and Marnie Simpson pull on their rubber gloves to help Gaz push out some very bizarre objects.

We told you it was weird.

Now fans have slammed the new trailer as ‘insensitive’ after Gaz’s ex-girlfriend and former housemate, Charlotte Crosby revealed she suffered a heartbreaking ectopic pregnancy last year.

One angry follower wrote: ‘wow @gazgshore giving birth… bit insensitive to Charlotte don’t you think?’ while another added: ‘bit f*d up since with the pregnancy thing with charlotte & they got gaz doin this.’

A third quipped: ‘So distasteful! Particularly in light of a previous cast member’s situation…’ and a fourth commented: ‘bit tactless considering his history with Charlotte.’

Charlotte has previously spoken out about having to deal with the pain of losing a baby alone after she found out while Gaz was filming Ex On The Beach – and it later emerged that he’d slept with Jemma Lucy, as well as having a threesome on the show.

Poor Char.

Charlotte and Gaz broke up when he got back from Ex On The Beach…

Replying to the backlash a spokesperson for MTV has issued a statement insisting that the pregnancy trailer has nothing to do with the former G-Shore couple.

‘MTV is well known for its entertaining and creative promotions around its programming. The promo for the upcoming series of Geordie Shore is designed to introduce our audience to some of the show’s new characters,’ they told the Daily Mail.

‘It bears no significance or connection to any of the cast’s private lives.’

Despite the controversy, loads of fans can’t wait for the new series to start on Tuesday (28th Feb) with many speculating that the eight new housemates, (yup, you heard it right – EIGHT) are bound to stir up a load more dramz.

Especially if Marty McKenna‘s ex girlfriend, Sarah Goodhart’s previous Ex On The Beach outbursts are anything to go by…

Anyone else ridiculously excited? Us too!
