Sheaths 'of distinction' accused of being tasteless

There’s going to be a stack of Prince William and Kate Middleton wedding memorabilia to snap up and store for your grandchildren.

Plates, cups, T-shirts…and, er, condoms.

Crown Jewels Condoms Of Distinction are sold in royal purple packs with an image of Prince William and Kate Middleton on the front.

The packaging instructs users to ‘lie back and think of England‘ and jests that ‘Like a Royal Wedding, intercourse with a loved one is an unforgettable occasion.’

Company spokesman Hugh Pomfret says: ‘We set our craftsmen to create these heirloom quality love sheaths.

‘In years to come they’ll be a memento of a magical day.’

Kate, 29, will marry William, 28, at Westminster Abbey on 29 April.

And devoted royalists believe the condoms are ruining an otherwise
classy affair.

‘This is completely tasteless and rather hurtful,’ says Majesty Magazine editor Ingrid Seward.

Prince William has a great sense of humour but this is a step too far.’
